Gemas são pedras preciosas, que quando colocadas em itens com sockets, adicionam ao item poderesos efeitos mágicos. São 5 níveis de gems: chipped, flawed, normal, flawless e perfect, e quanto maior o nível, mais forte é o efeito mágico.

Se você pegar um gem shrine e estiver com uma pedra em seu inventário, esta é automaticamente atualizada para o nível acima.

Você pode atualizar uma gema simplesmente colocando 3 iguais em seu Horadric Cube e transmutando.
